OUR PHILOSOPHY
Our programme of Education places its emphasis on the education of the MIND and SPIRIT of a child, in order to enable her to live harmoniously within herself and with society, at large.
To make our philosophy viable and effective, we emphasize learning, through experience, which is the only true learning since it enables our young to discover the art of continuous self-education. It is Anne’s self-developed Programme of “Learning, How to Learn” through research, projects, activities, exhibition and field trips.

St. Anne’s High School, (Convent of Jesus and Mary) is a Christian Minority Institution claiming rights and privileges under Articles 29 and 30 of the Indian Constitution. The school is recognised by the Government and is conducted by the Religious of the Congregation of Jesus and Mary.
We provide the student an opportunity to learn and to grow in a GOD centered atmosphere. We believe that each person is special and is a child of GOD.
Everything we do here focuses on the Educational, Spiritual, Moral, Physical and Psychological development of our girls.

Our Foundress
St. Claudine Thevenet
Claudine’s ideal was to make God known and loved by means of CHRISTIAN EDUCATION in all social milieux. This ideal remains the aim of the Congregation with the preference, inherited from the Foundress, for the young and among these for the poor.
What was her pedagogy?
It was a system:
a) of attention to the individual stressing the dignity of each person
b) of participation and collaboration because love cannot develop except in a united school community.
c) of giving practical formation enabling the young while living with the present, to prepare for the future.
d) of social formation in the ability to take their place in society with confidence.
